Renovate Smarter, Not Harder

Done Renovations 🔨 Saves, You 💰 Money 💵!!

Here are some ways you DONE can potentially save money after spending significant time, effort, and knowledge in the construction industry.

5 out of 5 stars

“Their model allowed us to have full transparency of our project and helped us manage costs. I wish I knew about them years ago.”

  • 1.

    Bidding

We solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers directly. This allows you to compare prices and negotiate better deals. A GC does not disclose what subs charge for your project.

  • 2.

    Materials

We work with you to personally select and purchase materials and finishes. This gives us the chance to shop around, find discounts, or consider other options that can save you money.

  • 3.

    Scheduling

We carefully plan and scheduling your project to avoid unnecessary delays and associated costs.

  • 4.

    Quality

We have greater control over the quality of labor and materials used and by maintaining high-quality standards, we can prevent costly rework or repairs in the future.

  • 5.

    Fees

General contractor fees are in excess of 35%. Done fees are fixed and low enough to allow you enough to properly complete your project. Not to mention we extend vendor discounts to you

Our Process

After a couple of decades in the construction industry, we realized the number one issue between owners and their contractors is the lack of definition of what is considered Done. So we created Done Renovations to alleviate some of those headaches with the process.

Why Use Done Renovations Versus a General Contractor?

Are you tired of dealing with the drawbacks of hiring a general contractor for your renovation project? At Done Renovations, we offer you a better alternative. Here is why you should consider us over a general contractor:

Renovated Home Kitchen
Cost
Hiring a general contractor typically comes with additional expenses. General contractors charge fees for their services, which can increase the overall cost of your project. They may also add markups on subcontractor bids, materials, and other expenses.
Communication and Coordination
Managing a construction project involves multiple stakeholders, including architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers. If the general contractor fails to effectively communicate and coordinate with all parties involved, it can lead to misunderstandings, delays, and errors.
Reliance on Contractor's Expertise
When hiring a general contractor, you are entrusting them with the responsibility of overseeing the project from start to finish. If the contractor lacks experience or expertise in certain areas or fails to manage subcontractors effectively, it could result in poor workmanship, delays, or cost overruns.
Limited Control
Hiring a general contractor means giving up some level of control over the project. While they take care of the day-to-day management, decision-making authority ultimately rests with the contractor. If you prefer to have direct control over every aspect of the project, hiring a general contractor may not align with your preferences.
Potential for Disputes
Construction projects can be complex, involving various parties, contracts, and legalities. If conflicts or disputes arise between the general contractor and subcontractors, suppliers, or other stakeholders, it can lead to delays, increased costs, and legal issues.
Quality Control
While general contractors are responsible for ensuring the overall quality of the project, there is always a possibility of oversight or subpar work. If the contractor fails to enforce quality standards or neglects to supervise subcontractors properly, it could result in compromised quality and the need for rework.
Scheduling Challenges
General contractors often juggle multiple projects simultaneously, which can impact scheduling and availability. If the contractor is spread too thin or faces unexpected delays on other projects, it may lead to scheduling conflicts and potential delays in completing your project.
